My Bio
Hello, my name is Ej Wallace. I was born in Rota, Spain on a Naval base. I was raised in Southern California until my mother retired from the Navy. We then moved to Natchez, Mississippi where I finished high school. I went to college for a year and joined the military. I currently live in Gulfport, MS, due to my grand luck of being stationed here, not by choice. Nothing wrong with the area, it's just my heart belongs to California. Through all my years and the traveling I have always had a camera in my hand. I don't know what started my love of Photography but I do remember my first camera. The first camera I had was a 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle' theme. The tool I use now to capture the things I see is a Nikon D3100. It's a very good, entry level DSLR. I'm looking to upgrade it very soon to the Nikon D800. I will be posting my photos to be viewed and I also welcome any pointers. I'm willing to learn and to try new ways and ideas on shooting a photo. I enjoy taking any shot that speaks to me or tells a story. Posed shots aren't my fav. but when you have the right subject it won't look forced. It seems all areas of photography are interesting, from the camera, to post production, the space in time in which the shot is taken. Each area has its ups and downs. I would also like to do some Networking.
Update: I now am the proud owner of a Nikon D800. I must say after a few shoot that I have taken it is a major step up.
